Blackriver lied about when the flooring would show up. My project was delayed and I had to get a higher rate on my loan. This delay cost me thousands of dollars. Some of my wood floor boards had finish defects and they will not fix them. This company is one big ripoff. Jeff San Francisco, California U.S.A.

Black River Flooring Corp. is a good company

I, Matt Freng am the owner of Black River Flooring Corp. AKA www.blackriverfloors.com on the internet. All Complaints on this FORUM are False. I am married with 2 children, our business is family oriented and very honest. None of the names of the respondents can be found in our files. The reports are obviously placed by competing companies that have been listed on the forum. These companies feel it is beneficial to themselves to make bad comments about a good company to make themselves look "less bad" We are aware of a couple of companies that have been scamming customers and have told their customers to lodge complaints as well as contact the attorney general. It is unfortunate that a forum like this can allow unsubstantiated claims to be posted. Rest assured...we are not a fraud and provide our customers with the best customer service available. We offer all of our customers the ability to purchase using a major Credit Card. A credit card offers you protection against fraud... Very Happy With Black River Floors

I have had one transaction (~250sq/ft prefinished hardwood) with this company. I placed my order through their website and via telephone and received very courteous service. Everything was explained clearly and I was given very good information and sound advice regarding shipping. My shipment arrived in a very timely fashion (I live around 600 miles away from them). As for the quality of the hardwood, I am a licensed carpenter, and just like every other hardwood manufacturer out there, there were a very few pieces that had small blemishes, but nothing that wasn't easily included in the 10% waste. Actually, I found the product to be very nice to work with - very little warping or twisting. As a matter of fact, the reason I happened upon this Rip-Off Report is that I just googled Black River Floors with the intent of placing another order. James - Kettering, Ohio U.S.A.
